Make your Smart Posture Coach! 🧍♀️🤖✨
👧💻🤔 Have you ever wished your computer could see how you sit and remind you to straighten up? In this lesson, you’ll teach your computer the difference between good posture and bad posture — using machine learning! 🧠📸 You’ll show it real examples through your webcam, and it will learn from your images to recognize how you’re sitting. When you slouch, it will gently remind you: “Bad posture — this will hurt your back!” 🪑😣 When you sit straight, it will cheer: “Good posture — good for you!” 😃👏 By the end of this project, your computer won’t just look at you — it will understand what it sees and respond intelligently! 🌟
💡 Teaching Goal: Kids learn how to train a machine learning model with real data (images) and use “if then else” logic to make a sprite respond differently based on the prediction.
🧩 What You’ll Learn:
In this lesson, you will discover:
- How to use the Machine Learning extension
- How to train the computer to recognize images (good and bad posture)
- How to collect labeled data using “train label 1” and “train label 2” blocks
- How to use the “when received label” block to make reactions happen
- How to use “if then else” and “equals” blocks to test model predictions
